I was one of the invisible kids during high school. Not many knew me then so I'm pretty sure even less of you remember me now. But it is fun to pull out the yearbook and see where life has brought everyone.

My husband Fred and I will celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary next March. We have 14 children ranging from 33 years to 11 years, including one set of twin girls and an awesome gift of Danny, our 14 year old son with Down syndrome. The kids do grow up and leave. We are down to only four kids at home. (Almost thee as the 18 year old will be joining her twin sister in upper Michigan next month.) Six of our kids our married and we have 16 grandchildren with two more on the way.

I've pretty much been a stay at home Mom for most of the past 35 years. I did direct sales with The Pampered Chef for about 12 years and worked a while in retail. About a year ago I started working as the cook at an Alzheimer and Dementia Home. It's a perfect fit as I love to cook and I love to feed these elderly people. Enjoying good food is one of their last pleasures. Since there are only 18 residents there I can and do cook exactly the same type of meals and desserts as I serve my family.

In my spare time (which I actually do have now) I enjoy cooking, knitting and reading.
